Botox for Droopy Eyelids? (photo) Doctor Answers, Tips

Great conversation going on about lateral brow ptosis. You may be interested. The patient asks if using Botox to treat ptosis is something that can be considered. Due to the young age of the patient, this is a valid question. Droopy eyelids may be caused by congenital ptosis, trauma, or age. In this case, the patient is 21 years old so definitely we can eliminate age as being the cause for the ptosis. Surgery could be invasive and risky so checking whether botox is a suitable approach to correcting the droopy eyelid is a totally great question.

I’m only 21 so I don’t want or need a surgical lift, but I do feel my eyelids are a little droopy towards the outer edges, and always give me this tired old look. My eyes have always been this way so I’m assuming it’s genetic, but I was just curious if botox could be a fix or if thats just my natural brow bone line and there’s nothing that can be done?
