Are you embarrassed or reserved about having Ptosis?

You’re not alone, but you kinda are

I have been looking for new and powerful resources for Ptosis but I’ve found few and the ones that exist with people in them are very inactive. I’m wondering why? Perhaps it’s that people are embarrassed or self-conscious about the issue. Or maybe they just rather remain anonymous when researching for the latest medical information. No matter what the case is, you need to know that this is a safe place for you to research what you need.
We provide all information free of charge and without requiring registration. We are thinking about creating a private forum for people to discuss and we have also discussed the idea with a few surgeons where they might become regulars at the forums to answer questions and have insightful discussions about the treatment of ptosis. Would you be interested in something like this? Please let us know in the comments.

In case you want to take a look at the other resources available out there for ptosis, keep checking the ptosis link resources page where we often update the websites we find relevant and interesting for you. Our blog of course, which you are reading is going to continue to grow to share stories we find and allow you to share your own.

For example, we’ve just added a link to this Congenital Ptosis Facebook Group. Unfortunately like I mentioned though, it is very desolate in there. So join a group, leave comments here on this blog, but take a step towards helping others with the condition you have by showing some courage. Speak up and let them know they’re not alone. We hope you find the Ptosis Resource Center to be a viable channel for you to develop these interactions with the community.
